A Brief History of B&H

Interesting look at B&H’s history via an ad I caught via YouTube. If I had known they gave out free candy I might have looked them up when I visited Manhattan a few years ago. I was actually in town for a gig at rival camera store Adorama, where I performed music for an instructional video.

There are obvious cultural similarities between the two, plenty of skullcaps in evidence. I wonder if the latter was started by a prodigal son of some sort.

Pretty much no one complains about either, really. I did buy a photo vest from B&H a few years ago, fast service and no problems. Hats off for this intriguing peek behind a major player in e-retail.

Line Friends has been doing all kinds of collaborations with their cartoon characters, from clothing to cookware ~ now it’s Lamy pens! This should hit the journaling Asian schoolgirl market pretty hard. #Brown #Sally
